A defoamer or an anti-foaming agent is a chemical additive. The terms anti-foam agent and defoamer are often used interchangeably.

The formation of foam in the industrial processes require strict control to prevent hindrances in the production process. Controlling the foam is one of the challenges in many industries like effluent treatment, chemical processing, textiles , leather, cleaning products. Our defoamers and antifoams significantly reduces and effectively controls foam in industrial process liquids.

Applications :

Defoamers is used in various industries like wood pulp, textile , paper, paint, industrial wastewater treatment, food processing, oil drilling, machine tool industry, oils cutting tools, hydraulics, etc.

It is also used in pharmaceutical industry.

Detergents and soaps : it is added to detergents to reduce foaming to make the detergent more effective . Eg : machine detergents , dishwasher detergents need less foam to be more effective .
